Comment's

Just thought I'd let you all know I've taken my comment's off until further notice as you people are getting a bit carried away and a bit nasty (you know who and what I'm talking about!!). When I've got time as I'm busy in studio recording tracks for The Truth vol. 1, I will reply to you in full as I'm not into people being disrespectful to my girlfriend (that's one of the worst things you can do to get me mad!!) just because she's white that is racism and I aint on that!!

Definitions of Racism:

The belief that certain races, especially one's own, are inherently superior to others.

This world is mixed up of all different sorts of races and religions, when are people going to except people and not judge them by what colour they are or what religion they choose to follow, I have but clearly their are still people who haven't!

Drop me out!!!!

Sidewinder 23rd July 2005

It will return to the Empire Milton Keynes Arena for the traditional Summer Ball event. If you have been to a Sidewinder Summer Ball you will know that this occasion is always a hot night! Not only is the weather normally good at this time of year but also the atmosphere and ladies are usually on fire as well! They continue to push forward their policy of not announcing the artist line up until the event itself so they are able to host the most upfront artists available at the time.

They also think it is important to listen to and respect your choices so they have set up a unique system which allows you to construct your DREAM LINE UP (coughing sound ROLLDEEP!) based on artists, artist combinations and set times.

You can only vote once so please make sure your vote is correct before you submit your entry.

3 Minute film on Channel 4

Last night a 3 minute film was shown on channel four at 7.55pm and the star of the film was ME! There are four in total being played every night this week and they are all about confined spaces, I was talking about the space in a prison cell if you didn't click and the animal was a massive moth! Never will I put myself in that confined space again, it isn't me anymore!!

Professional in the business!

There was a review about the films in the guardian on Friday 17th June, click on the link below to read about them more:

Record of the day 20th June 2005

"The Avenue" by Roll Deep

Relentless Relase date: 18 July

Dizzee Rascal used to be part of Roll Deep and Wiley still is (he produced The Avenue). Their album just charted at #50 without the aid of a single. Thanks to Steve Owen of HMV for tipping us off about it. The Avenue contains a hefty sample of Heartache Avenue by The Maisonettes, a record from Christmas 1982 that sounds like it was from Christmas 1957, with added raps. Finally someone in UK hip hop has worked out how to make a credible crossover hit. We heard this twice in quick succession on Radio 1 and it sounded so good, we became convinced it could be #1 record.

Lord of the Decks 3

Coming Soon!

BBC Collective Editor Album Review

Cockney salsa meets bhangra garage.Wiley, head honcho of the 13-strong crew of DJs and MCs which once counted Dizzee Rascal among their number, is clearly a man of eclectic tastes. Not only do his street-level tunes (named “eski” after their chilly, glacial strings) bear testament to his penchant for world music record stores, but the crew’s debut album manages to cover soul, cockney salsa and what can only be described as bhangra garage on the excellent When I’m ‘Ere. Surprisingly widescreen, hugely energetic and infinitely good.

Ministry of Sound 10th June

The Entourage!

Big Mic Man!

Shower Belly and Shower Face!

Times Eye Review

In at the Deep End (Relentless)

Roll Deep are best known as Dizzee Rascal’s old crew. While their roots lie in the eski/grime scene, however, In at the Deep End demonstrates little desire to remain immersed in fractious electro rhythms and dense urban patois. Switching genres with all the alacrity you’d expect from a unit with three producers, a beats merchant and nine MCs, they retain a collective identity that refuses to play to genre rules.

Flying Away sets the tone with smooth guitar and a looped female vocal chorus, fulfilling its promise to “raise eyebrows”, and the surprises keep on coming for 12 more inventive tracks.

Shower men in the making!

Id like to introduce to you to a crew some of you may not know about yet, at present they have the main session on 1xtra on Saturday's 9-11pm. The Crew members are 'Felix the Fireman', 'Diggy Dan Darkness' and the top boy Producer/Dj ' Soundman Marky Blenda'. They've been a round a couple of years (some of you might remember haunted house!). They play anything and everything and it works. Plus Soundman produces beats at a high level (so you producers watch out!).

Catch their show to hear some exclusive Riko specials including a remix of their well known controversy tune plus a few other bangers.

Shower men in the industry just you wait and see, not one of them are over 21 and they've got there on show on 1xtra. Are you dumb!

Review from HMV -

May 2005 Roll Deep - the East London crew who brought you Dizzee Rascal and Wiley - have finally stepped out of the shadows with a debut album of their own. 'In At The Deep End' is a record which is going to surprise a lot of people. Anyone who's heard the current white label EP - especially the superb 'Let It Out' (with it's uplifting house piano supplied by producer Danny Weed) knows there's more to Roll Deep than the brutal, stripped-down sounds with which the word Grime is normally associated. But no-one knew quite how much more. Tracks like 'The Avenue', 'Shake A Leg' and 'Bus Stop' take grime slap it around a bit and take it onto a whole new level. A mainstream, accessible level. This album contains sublime catchy pop moments with a healthy dose of street credibility. It's a compelling mix one which has immediately grabbed the media's attention.
